The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is set to visit Romania to review the details of its loan package with the nation.
During the trip, which will run from October 28th to November 9th, representatives of the body will be joined by officials from the European Commission and the World Bank.
Jeffery Franks, the IMF's Romania mission chief, said: "During this visit, the IMF mission will evaluate the country's recent economic performance and will discuss with authorities the economic objectives for the coming year, along with the policy measures and structural reforms needed to reach those objectives."
However, another visit could take place shortly after this one due to the current political turmoil in the country.
The IMF expects to return to the country once a new government is in place.
Former IMF representative Lucian Croitoru was recently named as Romania's prime minister and he is currently seeking parliamentary approval for his cabinet.
