Estonian business sector sees increase in sales |

Sales in the Estonian business sector increased in the first quarter of 2010 after two years of declines.
According to the Baltic Course, seasonally adjusted net sales rose by three per cent compared to the fourth quarter of 2009.
The last three month on three month increase was seen in the third quarter of 2007 before the global recession took hold.
Business sold 118 billion kroons (£6.23 billion) worth of goods and services during the period - a fall of two per cent on the same quarter last year.
Enterprises in the construction sector experienced the biggest drop in net sales.
Total profits among Estonian businesses amounted to 4.8 billion kroons - twice the sum recorded in the first quarter of 2009.
Figures released last month by Statistics Estonia revealed that exports from the Baltic country increased to 9.7 billion kroons in March compared to the same month last year.
